About me!

I am an ASHA-certified Speech-Language Pathologist with over 16 years of experience working with children across a variety of settings and with a range of speech, language, and communication needs. I firmly believe that establishing good relationships with my students, their families, and teachers is one of the most critical pieces in ensuring student success and generalizing skills outside the speech room.  I also believe that forming and maintaining these relationships is one of the best parts of my job. I love my profession and feel grateful every day for the opportunity to be an SLP.

I always communicate with my parents after each session, so they know what I am working on with their child. I also strongly encourage my parents to help their child complete the extra speech work I send home weekly so they can make faster progress in mastering target skills.

My Approach!

My Approach! *

Motivation is everything! My primary rule: make your speech sessions engaging, so your children are excited and can't wait to see you! However, every child is unique, and you must find what motivates them.

It takes time to connect with each child, to learn what they love and how they learn best. Whether it's through pretend play, books, sensory activities, or humor, I tailor every session to create a fun and engaging experience that keeps kids interested and motivated.

I use evidence-based speech and language therapy techniques, but deliver them in a way that feels playful, encouraging, and full of positive reinforcement. This approach is structured, but never rigid. It's supportive, but always goal-focused.
